David grow up on a farm in Maine where he learned to love and appreciate the outdoors, and living in a small town. In 1988 David was a young aspiring equestrian in the sport of three-day eventing and left New England for equestrian hub of Southern Pines North Carolina, to train for the upcoming season, he never left.
Over the years David successfully competed at the highest level in the world while also building his reputation as a coach and trainer. In 2000 David married his wife Lauren who to was an international event rider, representing the United States equestrian team three times. Over the years they bought and sold two different farms as well as a few individual parcels of land, although he didn’t realize it at the time this was the beginning of David’s real estate career. After retiring from competitive riding and then selling their farm in 2014, David became a licensed real estate broker.
David and Lauren have two daughters that were born right here at Moore regional Hospital and have become avid ballet dancers. In addition to supporting his children and watching them perform David continues to coach and train rides on a limited basis, as well as enjoying his much time as he can in the outdoors hunting and fishing. David enjoys getting to know his clients on a personal level and working with all types of buyers and sellers drawing upon his knowledge and experience| to meet their individual needs.
