Joe Ogden is an accomplished whitetail hunter and knows that when buying a farm it is critical to ensure that the land can produce BIG bucks. Not all properties have this ability. Put your trust in Joe’s professional opinion when buying a hunting farm. Joe says, “Buying a farm with great habitat and a history of solid deer are the obvious things to look for… but most people overlook the importance of a good neighborhood. The management practices of your neighbors can dramatically affect how your farm will produce in years to come.”

WHAT JOE’S CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY:
“Upon retiring from my first job, I decided to pursue a lifelong dream of buying some hunting/ recreational land to spend more time outdoors. I was interested in 30-60 acres in the Lincoln –Pike County, MO area because it’s an easy drive from my St. Louis City home and I have fond memories of my grandparents’ river clubhouse near Elsberry. I first met Joe Ogden when he agreed to show me a property I had seen on his website.
Being from the city, I was slightly apprehensive of business dealings with the local rural people who I thought might view me as an outsider. However, Joe’s honesty in answering my questions and friendliness quickly put me at ease. He presented several listings giving not only the pros, but also the cons of each property. An avid hunter and outdoorsman himself, Joe pointed out how each of the various properties could be enhanced for wildlife. As I honed in on one 40 acre tract, Joe happily continued to meet me there, walking the property several times, pointing out the lines and corners, and giving me his knowledge of the surrounding farms. In the summer of 2013 I bought those 40 acres.
Even after the sales transaction was complete, Joe stayed in touch with me; introducing me to local people who would help with the land. Joe helped me plant my food plots, assisted with my trail camera set up, and followed up with me during and after the fall hunting season – always interested in how I liked the property. Even though our business deal is over, I know I can call on Joe for advice and help anytime.
I highly recommend Joe Ogden to anyone looking for hunting/recreational property in the Lincoln/Pike County area.”
