Matt Strasse moved to Waupaca 11 years ago as he has family in the area and wanted to pursue a career as a machinist where he received his journeyman card. Matt then decided to follow his dream and become a professional hunting guide. Matt completed guide school in western Montana (Swan Mountain area) and took jobs guiding private hunts, helping clients locate and bag the white tail bucks of the their dreams in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
After the season came to an end, Matt decided to return to Waupaca and started his career as a carpenter where he gained all of his knowledge in building new construction and remodeling projects with a 2 man crew local carpenter. He later married his wife, Angie and wanted to raise their family in Waupaca, which led Matt back in his career as a journeyman machinist. Matt and Angie now have three daughters.
Matt also owns a Waupaca-based contracting service – Strasse Home Services. As an experienced carpenter, Matt can suggest project ideas for your new home or advise on what projects to complete prior to your home going on the market in order to ensure a fast sale and top dollar.
When not renovating and building, or assisting buyers and sellers, Matt enjoys hunting, traveling, fishing, and mountain biking in the country with his wife Angie and their three daughters.
