Chris McDonald

Chris was raised in Cottage Grove, MN, (a suburb of St. Paul, MN) but spent every moment he could on his grandparent’s farm in Northern Wisconsin. Growing up he was very active in baseball and hockey, playing on several traveling teams and enjoys watching his son do the same. He did however always found the time to hunt, fish, and other outdoor activities with friends and family. Chris has spent the past 29 years as a Sergeant for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and has since retired. He feels retirement at a younger age has offered him the opportunity for a second career in an area and lifestyle he enjoys.

Through friend Coltyn Bettis. Chris was offered the chance to work alongside him for United Country Midwest Lifestyle Properties. It is very rewarding to him to be able to use his life experiences and passion for the outdoors to help like minded clients achieve their goals. His knowledge of rural properties and ability to listen and relate to people are his strong suits. Chris makes sure his clients see that he is working for them with their best interests in mind.

Chris has enjoyed being a Home/landowner his whole adult life. He wants to help people do the same when buying real estate and also to understand that when you sell, you are selling a piece of your life. Whether it be that starter home or the farm that has been in the family for generations.

Chris is active in several outdoor organizations including: National Deer Association, National Wild Turkey Federation, Pheasant Forever, Wisconsin Bowhunters, and others. Being a rural land owner himself, he also enjoys improving wildlife habitat & being an overall steward of the land.

“I can help you find and improve the property of your dreams.
