Dustin McAloon

My name is Dustin McAloon I was born, raised, and still reside in rural Central
Wisconsin. Growing up I was fortunate my Dad was a group publisher at Krause
Publications in Iola, Wisconsin. One of the many magazine titles he oversaw in his
tenure there was Deer & Deer Hunting and I often joke deer hunting wasn’t just
something we did in our household it was quite literally a way of life. I grew up traveling
all over the Mid-West with my Dad hunting and as I got a little older that turned into
filming for Deer & Deer Hunting TV.

After a college football career I came back to my hometown and started chasing my
dream of making Whitetails something I could build a career and living off doing. I’ve
spent the last 15 years running my own property management company, while also
being a full-time farm manager. My hunting career has progressed to the point I enjoy
the land and habitat work just as much if not more than harvesting an animal anymore.
I’ve been very fortunate in my career and where it has led me. Three years ago, I
picked a camera back up for the first time in about a decade and began filming again for
HuntWorx TV airing on The Sportsmans Channel. I’ve enjoyed getting my son involved
into the outdoors and filming his hunts just as much as my own and getting to
experience all of those youthful joys again through his eyes and experiences.

I’m really looking forward to serving Central Wisconsin on behalf of UC Hunting
Properties and bringing my lifetime of local knowledge of land and habitat improvement
work to their clients.
