He became a fire fighter for Cal Fire in the Napa Valley. He loved the fast paced environment and the being outdoors. But after 5 years in the fire service he was apart of an engine roll over accident and decided it was time for change. So in 2021 he and his wife left California and planted roots in Gilmer Texas.
