Matthew Peachey

Matthew grew up on the land and in the outdoors on a grain operation in Kentucky. Here he learned the value of hard work and developed a love of the outdoors, the land, and working with his hands. After moving to NC in 2010, he spent a number of years in different facets of the construction industry before entering the real estate business in 2015. As a Land Professional, Matthew understands the dream of owning land big enough to run and play, keep animals, till the soil, hunt, fish and just get away from the daily hustle and bustle. He is passionate about managing land well, a trait he learned from his father who taught himself extensively on the proper management of soil, nutritional balance, and soil health. He is also a level1 QDMA Deer Steward and is always working to improve his knowledge of wildlife and habitat managemement.

Matthew and his wife, Mari, with their three children, currently reside in Woodleaf, NC, along with their Border Collie named Dixie. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything that gets him outdoors. He plays guitar, sports, and enjoys woodworking (particularly rustic décor and furniture) and smoking and curing meat. His top values are God, Family, and integrity

A note from Matthew: Whether you are buying or selling real estate, you want a top agent on your side that will get the deal done on your behalf and to your greatest advantage. Few things are more frustrating than working with someone that you’re not even sure you can trust, so I take that pretty seriously. I have never yet had an unhappy client. I look forward to working together with you to meet and exceed your goals in Real Estate!

Rural Acreage and Homesite in Davie County…

Mocksville, NC
Davie
This is a fantastic 28-acre tract a few miles outside of Davie County NC. The property offers a diverse range of habitat, from an open 8 acre field on the top of a knoll to a large stand of open hardwoods with massive oak and beech trees to a cedar thicket to 15 year successional growth timber. A year-round stream runs along one side of the property, and a large bluff overlooking the creek and surrounding hardwoods offers an excellent spot for a guest house or cabin. Deer and turkey travel the property a lot, and the field at the upper end of the property is high enough to offers excellent views of sunsets and sunrises. This is truly a gem in rural Davie County, yet only 7 minutes from downtown Mocksville. A perk test has not been completed for the property, but the USDA soil maps show suitable soil across most of the field on the property. A buyer will have the option of completing a perk test during the contract period based on their desired location and size of home if they so choose

37 acres of excellent hunting land with pasture and a homesite for sale in rural Rowan County! This property has good road frontage and access with a 4.5 acre hay field at the front. The field lays very well and contains good soils, making it ideal for a buyer looking for land for a small homestead with room for a few horses or some chickens and cows. Build close to the road and save on utilities or build further back for more privacy, the choice is yours, and both are a very viable option at this location. The back 30 acres is perfect for horseback riding, off-roading, hunting and any number of recreational activities. Topography is slightly rolling, it’s planted in 15-year-old pines, and there is an access road almost to the very back of the property. Deer sign is all over the place. You don’t want to miss this opportunity! Perk test will be the responsibility of the buyer and dependent on their needs, but soils are expected to be good near the road
