Eighteen years in the outfitting business and 16 years in the local real estate business has given me an advantage on available hunting properties for sale in Northern NM. I am extremely familiar with the local and surrounding areas, as well as, the land owner permitting system with NM Game and Fish. Chama is renowned for its trophy elk hunting, mule deer hunting, merriam turkey hunting and excellent trout fishing. Located just 12 miles from the Colorado border, we are in close proximity to both the Rio Grande and Carson National Forests. For folks who aren’t interested in buying their own piece of hunting or fishing land, New Mexico Game and Fish allows residents and non-residents to apply for draw permits.
