Earl Musick -Owner / Broker

Earl Musick has over 18 years of experience in the real estate business and a lifetime of experience as an auctioneer growing up in the family business. Earl specializes in Bare Land, Recreational Land, Commercial Properties, and Farms and Ranches. Earl has been a broker-owner of United Country Musick & Sons Auction & Real Estate Services( Grangeville Idaho) and United Country Steelhead Realty (Orofino, Coeur d’Alene, Bonners Ferry, and Kamiah, Idaho) for over 8 years. He bought the family real estate business in 2016, making it a successful and well-respected company in Idaho.

Some interesting facts about Earl:

After graduating from Meridian High School in 1998, Earl attended the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. He started his career working in Eagle, Idaho as a salesman and auctioneer for Idaho’s largest public auto auction while simultaneously performing contract auctioneering for a number of heavy equipment auction companies.

In 2006 Earl earned the prestigious title of IAPA Bid Calling Champion Auctioneer for the entire state of Idaho while also graduating from the Certified Auction Institute at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

After obtaining his real estate salesman license (and later his broker’s license) Earl combined his two passions and began conducting real estate auctions both online and live. His experiences with real estate auctions led him to develop an entirely new and successful concept for conducting online personal property auctions. He debuted his ground-breaking idea in Nampa, Idaho where his auction house flourished and promptly outgrew its offices in two months. In the next six months, several auction companies followed Earl’s lead all over the Treasure Valley. Musick Auction remained at the top of the industry even after being sold.

Earl moved back home to North Central Idaho – Grangeville, Idaho (his hometown) to pursue a recreational lifestyle as well as real estate. Earl’s expertise lies in recreational properties for sale in North Central Idaho, Idaho hunting land for sale, and Idaho ranches and farms for sale. His concentration is in North Central Idaho but he serves the entire state and is qualified and happy to meet your needs as a buyer’s broker or listing broker for any and all Idaho real estate. In 2010 Earl teamed up with Potlatch Land to offer his buyers the best recreation properties available in North Central Idaho. In addition, teaming up with Realtree United Country Hunting Properties has given us the opportunity to highlight recreation/Hunting properties in North Central Idaho.

Earl has a passion for the outdoors, specifically fishing for Steelhead or Chinook Salmon on the Snake River, Salmon River, and Clearwater River (all of which are within an hour from Grangeville!) In Earl’s middle-life crisis, he discovered white water rafting on the Salmon river. Once a year he and his small group of old river guide friends take a trip down the Main Salmon River.  Earl should have been a river guide in his younger years as he has really taken to the river rat life in the summer. During football season you’ll find Earl at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho rooting on the Idaho Vandals at the University of Idaho’s campus. Go Vandals!
