Originally from Baytown, Texas, Jim earned both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Wildlife Biology from Texas A&M University at Kingsville. His education led to a nearly 25-year career as a Regional Wildlife Biologist with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, where he worked closely with farmers and ranchers across hundreds of counties throughout Texas.
Through decades of consulting on farms, ranches, and rural properties, Jim developed a strong network of landowners and agricultural professionals across the state. His hands-on experience with land management, conservation, and rural operations gives him a deep understanding of what makes rural land truly valuable, allowing him to effectively represent both buyers and sellers of farm, ranch, and recreational properties.
Jim and his wife, Stephanie, have two daughters, Olivia and Lillian. While Jim has always enjoyed hunting, fishing, and baseball, his favorite pastime today is spending time with his girls—who fortunately share his love for the outdoors.
