Spencer Wood

Originally from New Hampshire, in the Fall of 2009 Spencer moved to Maine to attend the University of Maine, Orono (UMO) as a recruited student-athlete.  And he has lived in Maine ever since!

As a defensive end for the UMO football team, Spencer excelled both on and off the field receiving NCAA honors while earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in the areas of communication and human development.  Spencer immersed himself in work with the Foster Center for Student Innovation where h

e first committed himself to growing and creating jobs across the state of Maine through entrepreneurship. To date, Spencer has launched three mobile application companies, including a ridesharing company called Tip Whip that allows college students to secure an on-demand ride to get wherever they need to go for FREE!

Spencer fell in love with the world-class quality of life Mainers enjoy which is why he and his English Lab, Chilli, are now full-time residents of Bangor.  When Spencer and Chilli are not playing fetch, they enjoy taking advantage of the year-round outdoor recreation that Maine offers including mountain biking the Bangor City Forest, hiking some of Acadia’s more overlooked trails, skiing in Maine’s Lakes & Mountains region, and whitewater rating in The Forks.

Spencer works with properties all over the state of Maine from Aroostook to York counties, specializing in hunting, fishing, and recreational properties, as well as single and multi-family residential homes.  Spencer looks forward to providing local introductions to what he loves most about the beautiful state he now calls home.  He cannot wait to be your guide, as you find the perfect property or tract of land to bolster your roots in Maine!
