Cause you can't find peace like this in a bottle or a pill…. “From a bar stool to that Evinrude, Sunday mornin' in a church pew, In a deer stand or a hay field, An interstate back to Nashville, In a Chevrolet with the windows down, Me and him just ridin' around, Sometimes, whether I'm lookin' for Him or not, That's where I find God”. Hunting land in Michigan

Jackson, MI
Jackson
Hunting land in Michigan.  Hunting land in Jackson County.  Here is a very affordable piece of land in one of the best deer hunting counties of Michigan.  This 10 acres is easily accessible from US127 and just a few minutes north west of the city of Jackson.  The property borders Clinton Rd (M50) and Blackman Rd for easy access to your treestands.  By the way, the seller is leaving 5 Millennium stands for the new owner and several trail cams with security boxes and solar panels are negotiable in the price. Several food plots have been carved out of the mostly wooded 10 acres.  The only areas that aren't brush/wooded are the food plots and a power line right of way along the south property line. You could plant this right of way to more food or switchgrass for more cover.  Deer use of this property seems very high by the amount of rubs, trails and droppings I found while walking it. I kicked up several deer and found 2 dead deer on my tour. To the north and the west is all residential, to the south and east is all wooded and ag fields.  There is parking access from both Clinton and Blackman Rd.  I spoke with the county health dept and the property does not perk for a conventional septic system, they did say you could apply for a variance for an engineered mound septic system if you wanted to build on this property.  There is a copy of a survey in the photos.  Look for an interactive map here on our site showing property lines and the neighborhood.

Looking for a great hunting farm with good income? Take a look at this one. I grew up in Ridgeway and hunted this farm many years ago. There is a good mix of timber, crp and row crop,  located just Southeast of Ridgeway. To the South and East of the property is acres of timber and crp so the bucks will be roaming. Many good bucks have been seen and taken around this section. Take a look at the aerial and you can see. There is 62.24 acres of CRP paying $9690.00 annually thru 2031 and 96 acres of row crop that will be cash rented for $200.00 per acre. Annual income of $19,200.00. Total annual income of $28,890.00 The row crop is tiled and terraced. The CRP is at the South end of the property giving more cover for the deer. Turkey hunting should be good also. Come take a look, I think you will like it.
